We are now recruiting for an Operations Assistant for our growing Wellness Retreat. The Right Candidate would be working with the General manager. Food and Beverage, Maintenance as well Guest Services including accommodation. We are striving to give our Customers a great experience and the best stay ever. Our staff are needed to deliver personalized and excellent Guest services.The role involves great customer care and it will require flexibility to work mornings from 8.00am or evenings.

The main duties will be:

  • Represent Creacon by maintaining a pleasant and friendly manner and working to the highest service standards at all times
  • Assist in the planning and execution of food and beverage service throughout the hotel.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage service is provided in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining the highest standards of service quality.
  • Assist in the management of all food and beverage staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests, ensuring their needs are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
  • Manage the scheduling of staff to ensure adequate coverage for all food and beverage operations.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and other expenses related to food and beverage service.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new menus and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure that all areas as well as the remaining public areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Monitor the guest services area to ensure efficient and personalized service is delivered to customers.
  • Must be flexible, enjoy a challenge, and is able to work outside the comfort zone while maintaining the ability to be objective and positive
  • Must be a team player with the ability to multi task, standards driven and detail orientated
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure compliance of brand standards and ensure cleanliness of work areas
  • Comply with Creacon security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • Be environmentally aware
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
  • Coordinate events

The ideal candidate will:

  • Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
  • Excellent grooming standards & flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff and the ability to handle and resolve issues.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work on your own or in teams
  • Previous cleaning and/or industry experience
  • Knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations
  • Have a friendly, polite and positive personality
  • Possess a good level of spoken English
  • Possess a hands-on attitude to work
  • Be flexible to work all shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends depending on the needs of the business.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Ireland and available all-year round
